COSMO CONSULT has another Most Valuable Professional (MVP). Patrick Schiefer was recognized by Microsoft in the Business Applications category for his expertise and outstanding contributions. The Senior Software Engineer at COSMO CONSULT sees the award as a further incentive to delve deeper and push past limitations.
Talent and a sense of community

When applied to the Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals program, this means that in addition to an individual's potential, commitment to the community is imperative. Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) not only have outstanding knowledge in their area of expertise, they also enhance the broader technology community. The selection is made after nominated by an active MVP or directly by Microsoft. Technical expertise, solution-oriented thinking, and innovative ideas for the digital future are the basis for the MVP nominations.
Patrick Schiefer is currently the only Austrian among the 480 MVPs worldwide who specialize in Business Central. The foundation of Patrick Schiefer's work is the productive dialogue within the international COSMO CONSULT group and with customers and the community, as well as mutual inspiration and concerted development. He is particularly pleased that the award recognizes the sharing of his own personal expertise: "This is a special honor. I really enjoy sharing my expertise and helping others."
Being an inspiration to others
This joy lies at the very core of the award. MVPs are passionate, helpful, and love what they do. One of the ways this is evident is in the contributions that experts make to the community and the public impact they have. Patrick Schiefer, for example, runs his own blog where he shares insights on the latest developments at Business Central. He is also a regular speaker at industry meetings. His colleagues also know him to be a committed and inspiring speaker.
The Senior Software Engineer is actively involved in various initiatives of the digital transformation specialist COSMO CONSULT, leveraging his larger network and deep insight into Microsoft because the MVP program supports its members, and enables them to respond to the needs and opportunities in the local community. This position also strengthens the focus on the customer that is at the heart of COSMO CONSULT. "It is one of the greatest honours anyone in the world can receive from Microsoft. There are no limits for thought
The title of MVP is awarded by Microsoft for a fixed period of time and is reviewed on a regular basis. There is no doubt that Patrick Schiefer will continue to be a member of the elite MVP community in the future, because sharing expertise and actively promoting the Microsoft community are close to his heart. He is currently focussing on the technology switch from C/AL to AL. His aim is to show that, despite the different programming approaches, there are extensive possibilities for getting more out of Business Central: "With the right expertise, there are no limits in this field."
